Interview Advice

Interviews are a source of dread for many people as it is often quite some time since they last attended one! With careful preparation and planning, you can turn the situation to your advantage and actually start to enjoy and exploit interview situations.

Within this section we will look at a number of different areas that will help you when you attend your interview.

Firstly, we'll take a reflective look of what the interviewer is looking for. Straight from the horse's mouth - Boyden Executive Search are one of the leading headhunters in the world, they interview over 15,000 potential candidates a year, within this section you'll find what it is they are looking for.

We'll also look in more details at things you should and shouldn't be doing during the course of your interview. Things you should and shouldn't say. We'll also look in more detail at body language and its hidden meaning in an interview and how you can use body language to your advantage by making you appear more confident in a stressful situation.

We'll then go onto Interview questions.

We have literally hundreds of questions here broken into five key characteristics, Problem solving, Communications Skills, Motivation, Administration and Self Analysis. We'll also summarise the 'dirty dozen' questions which are the most common questions asked interviews today.

Finally we'll look at other resources that could help you in an interview.
